Contra Dancing with the freshmen!

Math teacher Peggy has a passion...and it is contra dancing. Today, she was able to share her passion with the freshman class and the Newton Grove staff and mentors.
A contra dancing friend of Peggy's teaches Jon a basic move. Heel-toe, heel-toe, slide, slide, slide!
Swinging their partners in preparation for some contra dancing in Newton Grove.
 Peggy had a good time!
The kids weren't sure at first...and then they decided it was lots of fun.
Allemande left (How do you spell that?)
Being able to follow instructions will be an important aspect of the Newton Grove experience. Today, we had lots of practice following instructions.
Working closely with all kinds of people will be another important aspect of Newton Grove.
Have a positive attitude. Be willing to try something new. It just might be fun!

More to come on other End-of-Year experiences as I hear from them.
